Akuze: Sacrifice

Olivia J. Shepard holding her friend Sarah G. Kipling, having just carried her from the massacre site. They were on a routine patrol in a MAKO when the thresher maws attacked, both were injured in the wreck. Kipling had been mortally wounded, stabbed in the abdomen by a splintered MAKO bulkhead.

Shepard managed to get her to the drop zone, but Kipling died on the way up. This is the two best friends in Sarah's final moments.

May not mean much to you people, but I've been fiddling with this story for years, so it's good to finally 'paint' it properly.
